Grandview Heights is a small city situated just a few miles from the center of Downtown Columbus. It is adjacent to big-city attractions and one of the largest universities in the nation—The Ohio State University—but still maintains an enchanting small-town charm. The city is nearly surrounded by water, as the Scioto and Olentangy Rivers run along the southern and eastern part of Grandview Heights, respectively. As the name implies, Grandview Heights provides some of the most picturesque views of Columbus and surrounding areas.

The community hosts a variety of boutiques, antique stores, specialty shops and restaurants. The Bank Block is a source of great pride for the community. This historic site was built in 1927, renovated in the 1970s, and is one of the nation’s first shopping centers to include a parking lot. The Bank Block originally included a grocery store, a pharmacy, and a bank among a total of 12 storefronts, and today is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Grandview Heights Public Library has been recognized as one of the best libraries in the nation.
